Summary: The City is now sending backflow test letters NOT based on our MPE list of 30 September 2023 due dates -- and threatening to turn off water of the residences who do not comply with INCORRECT due dates. But not to worry, we've sent a list of all those who SHOULD have the test due date of 30 September 2023 and asked the City to correct their error. See the list and the communications.

Update on City's backflow test recent SNAFU.
SNAFU: The City is now sending backflow test letters NOT based on our MPE list of 30 September 2023 due dates -- and threatening to turn off water of the residences who do not comply with INCORRECT due dates.
Last month we were informed by BSI they are no longer managing the backflow tests for the City. OK...
Then several of our MPE neighbors, who have already been approved by BSI AND by the City, for the 30 September 2023 test due date (including our address) started receiving letters directly from the Willow Park, with incorrect due dates -- due dates that are sooner than 30 September 2023.
And to add insult to inefficiency, the City is now threatening to cut off water to the residences who do not comply with the incorrect due dates.
So we sent a website message (.pdf) to the WP Director of Public Works with documentation of the City's error and requested the following:
• Correct the City records to show the backflow certification test due date of 30 September 2023 for the list of thirty two (32) MPE residences in the attached .pdf file. [in .jpeg below]
• Send correction letters to those on the list, to whom the City has already sent “Official Notice” letters with incorrect due dates.
• Confirm all of the thirty two (32) residences in the attached list have due dates of 30 September 2023.
We will stay on this issue and update you as we receive info from the City,
