Trash and Recycling

Trash and recycling are billed by the City of Willow Park

Trash Collection twice per week: Tuesday & Friday

Recycle Collection once per week: Tuesday

Be sure your carts are set out for collection by 7:00 am on Tuesday and Friday for trash collection and on Tuesday for recycling collection.

Please DO NOT set carts out prior to 6:00 pm the day before your service day.

Please place your trash and recycling carts two (2) feet away from each other and away from the edge of the street. Make sure that handle is facing your house, so that the lid opens toward the street. Please check to see that they are not obstructed by parked cars, boats, etc.

Republic Services provides trash cans and recycle cans, call C/S 800-644-3961. Note: February 2022 called C/S and forwarded to Sales (844-737-8254); call to set up delivery of trash and reclcye cans at no cost no resident.

There is no need to presort recyclables. Do not place items in plastic bags unless it is shredded paper, which should only be placed in a CLEAR plastic bag. Please always close the cart lid.

Your neighborhood The Home Depot Store has partnered with Call2Recycle, a non-profit battery recycling program. You can recycle RECHARGEABLE batteries free by placing them in Call2Recycle bins at the store. Any rechargeable battery, including lithium batteries, or cellphone that weighs up to 11 pounds is accepted.

Household Chemical Waste Disposal Procedure
1. Purchase a voucher, $50, from the Sheriff’s Office at 129 Hogle Street.
2. Take voucher and chemicals, paints, fertilizers, florescent bulbs, herbicides, pesticides, household chemicals or cleaners, medication, pool chemicals, stains, varnish, acid aerosol cans and old gasoline or fuel, that needs disposal, to Fort Worth Environmental Collection Center at 6400 Bridge Street. 817-392-3279.
